The ImmPression Logo

I haven’t had a chance to do very much in terms of design work in the last while, so this web publication project was a chance to flex my Adobe Illustrator muscles again.

The original logo was popular with our group and a strong concept, I didn’t deviate too much from our original concept. This is really a clean up job that lines the logo up more closely with the overall aesthetic of our websites and incorporates some  more recognizeable Ottawa landmarks.

From left to right: the National Art Gallery (one of the most distinctive silhouettes in the city), the new Chinatown arch and Parliament Hill. Our publication focuses on immigrant related issues in Ottawa. We look at cultural issues, local communities and federal politics. I think you get the gist of it.
